This was the first place we tried for breakfast. The restaurant is beautifully set on a pond with brightly colored Koi (fish) and turtles. The food was typical breakfast fare. However, the service was phenomenal. The manager even brought over bread for my daughter to go out and feed the fish. It was a great experience. A regular also told us about the goats nearby that live by the Trading post. Everyone was so friendly. I wish they were open for dinner because I would have gone back. Definitely give it a try.

We popped over to cashiers as we were spending the weekend in Highlands. We have never been to cashiers but heard great things about it so we decided to make the journey.
First of all, it was wonderful to escape the Atlanta heat and be in the mountains and enjoy some cool weather for a change. We struggled finding parking in all of cashiers, however at the last moment space in front of this restaurant opened up, so that determines where we would lunch! There were just a few tables left outside and as it was such a beautiful day we decided to sit in the gazebo area. Gorgeous weather! Oh wait, did already say that?
I will say that our food was actually really good, however, service was truly sub par. We had to ask twice for fries; couldn't get my husbands drink as she kept 'forgetting' and then she gave us the wrong check. Comedy of errors.
Order the chicken wrap- it's fabulous! -

We came. We waited. And waited. And waited. And left. Shame. As a year ago we can here and really enjoyed it. Something has changed and not for the better. Maybe we'll try again next year.

Visiting Cashier for a wedding and stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Food was good. I got an omelette which was pretty good considering at a lot of places omelettes tend to be dry and blah, this one was well-cooked and fluffy. Coffee was good. Service was good. Wish they would had real jelly instead of Smuckers which is just all high fructose corn syrup.

This was my 1st time eating here, the food was very good, nicely presented, the coffee was very good as well, this is very important for me, if the coffee is not good, it makes me sad.
staff was Efficient.
The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere.
I overheard the place was sold and a new cook was being hired with very good culinary background, cant wait to come back and try it.
Hope they keep the coffee! LOL
Also they are supposed to be open all winter except Mon and Tues. This is great, I love to be there in the winter
